in the framing workshop we had a huge discusion on how the eye sees and how much do u aterly see dose ur brain make it up do your eyes lie to you, how do you know what you see is real.

yet again another workshope in pinhole camera this time i was trying to be abit more creative as i maid a cerved camera to add to the pin affect. the event i was capturing at first was me trying to smoke but as i was moving i cam out as a ghost like finger(above on the left) but all pinhole photos come out ghostly as there in the negative so clamming ghostly was intentional is toltel ballshit so i learned nothing the to images above where the only ones to work exposure was about sixty seconds.

a little fact i picked up over the years pinholes r the bassist of the camraobsuro used bye artists like vamire and Caravaggio to hinarncer the skill the adding of paper to capter the imigge came in victorien times.

drawing by memory as a noun didn't learn the history but learned to explore marks with out looking steering at objects intimating and left handed. platos cave poped up and that at i got form the workshop so i reworked the the idea of the cave.

the coverage at Reading this year by the BBC is not up to scratch with chessy radio presenters who think they know good music because they r payed to play mainstream garbage, with little coverage of most of the stages the focus is on the main stage and evan then the BBC finds it ok to cut out most of the live sets and jump between Florance and the machines and kings of lion who in my opinion are not as interesting as the bands on the lock up stage or the alternative stage. if the BBC do this to the radiohead gig i will not be happy.

under threat from global warming. as usual BBCs radio 1 have continued the over hipe of the Sheffield band the arctic monkeys, thire new album and the first single "crying lighting " is being played to death bye Edith Bowman and Scot Mils on radio 1. when i first herd the song i liked it but as i herd it over and over and over and over again and listening to every DJ on the station over hipe it i got bored of the repetative drown of the arctic monkeys. and looking at their new long hair on the coverage of the Reading festival on the BBC.

one of the greatest films I've seen all year and one of the longest I sat throw at the cinema as a double feature at the Duke of York picture house in Brighton. the film is split into two parts the 1st is centered around the Cuban Revolution and the 2nd on the Bolivian part of Ches life. I wasn't happy with the ending tho.

i went to see flobots live at concord 2 in Brighton on Friday the 20th and me and my mate Ben got talking to the tour mangier after the gig and the singer in flobots, and we managed to get ourselves on the the guest list for the Rise Against UK tour in Portsmouth. One of the bands, Anti Flag where there protesting about the financial state of the U.K and the U.S.A. the singer sad we shouldn't be baling out the banks but baling out the homeless and the underprivileged. I sagest you to go the the rise against tour Evan to they have sold out jest because of flobots and anti flag, two bands that r trying tho change the world throw their music.

The Warehouse Project is a night club that dose not exist during the week but at the weekend the car park beneath Manchester Piccadilly terns into a underground rave, where you can expect to see radical new indie band to hardcore drum and bass, it is great if u want to get bladed due to the large bars or jest dance. The portable toilets give the hole event a festival feel. but you may have to queue to go out for a smoke.

THE HALF BRICK!!

Great live music, tasty food, fairy priced drinks and a brilliant friendly atmosphere. It can only be the half brick. The half brick is situated just off of Worthing sea front on Brighton Road. It is a spacious pub with two bar areas and a function room, and yet it is still has that warm and cosy feeling inside. The staff are friendly and patriots are a great laugh. So what makes it different from any other pub? The music of course! There is always something going on! There are live bands every Friday and Saturday as well as the odd weekday too. Most of the music is rock music, but there is always that bit of jazz, blues, acoustic and djs thrown in! Ticket prices are often around ten pounds, however a lot of the gigs are also free entry. They host brilliant special occasions which you must be silly to miss
My personal favourite band has to be Dirty Shoes though! They play the last Saturday of every month and are unbelievable. Made up of a insane drummer, a bassist who always manages to snap his strings in the opening song, another guitarist who is hilarious, an incredible singer and the best lead guitarist in the world. They play mainly 80s rock, with a few new songs and a few of their own too! Teenagers and the oldies go wild when they play such music as AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Bon Jovi and Guns N Roses. You’ll be head banging till your head falls off! Come on it’s free, what have you got to loose?

Another one of my favourites is when Mike Estes Plays! Yes Mike Estes, the only surviving member of the legendary Southern American rock band, Lynard Skynard. You aren’t a fan until you’ve heard FreeBird and Sweet Home Alabama played LIVE, right in front of you! So come on down to the half brick, in my opinion the best pub in the world! And enjoy the lively atmosphere, great music and a pint of two.

Right i got six weeks to make a twenty page dummy magazine its going to be shown to individuals in the publishing industry so its got to be good. I'm going to take it further because i believe in getting more people interested in underground culture like new music photography and independent film. I have already got someone working on a review of the Half Brick pub in Worthing where they mostly have cover bands playing on Friday nights and occasionally have unighrd bands perform live there.
